Guest guest
Lori, I work in a community based Mental Health clinic and see a caseload of kids among the 35 people or so I see every week myself (plus those that come in for the other 21 clinicians) and have 2 children...one in middle school and the other now nursery school....so catching everything is all around me daily....since going onto Humira.....I have had one very minor sinus infection that the Med Express doctor put me right onto a Z-pack and was gone without developing into something more ...both my daughters and husband ended up with the vomiting flu bug for Christmas.....but I didn't. I tended before Humira to get really sick 2x's a year anyway....just try and be smart, wash your hands etc. It was probably 8 weeks (4 injections) before I really saw the impact that I have today....but could feel some relief after the first injection.....talk to your doctor about ways to reduce impact....even vitamins that he sees are appropriate...... Guest guest
Dawn, Thank you so much for the info., I have been very worried about this is going to effect my job. My hubby has been unemployed for a year due to the economy so I do not need any other complications. I do wash my hand alot and with the new hand sanitizers at work I will be taking full advantage, I have been taking a multi-vitamin and super b complex so I am hopeful that Humira will give me some relief and few side effects. lori
