Guest guest
Hi, I am looking for a good lyme literate psychiatrist for my daughter. Has anyone heard of or worked with Dr. Bransfield (out of NJ) or Virgina Sherr(out of PA)? I don't know if either work with children, but they both come highly recommended by Dr. Judith Levanthal (out of New York). My daughter is being treated by Dr. C but we are needing additional help. Does anyone know if Dr. C will work in tandem with a psychiatrist? I know how she prefers to work " all natural " . Thanks so much,
Guest guest
Both are fantastic! Dr. B has written extensively on the neuropsych issues associated with Lyme, et al. He's wonderful on the topic of Lyme-induced Autism too. Check out his work online. Dr. S is also fabulous. As a therapist working primarily with Lyme-involved clients, I've consulted with her on a few complex issues. Despite how busy she is, she's always been gracious with her time and knowledge. I often refer people to her website: www.thehumansideoflyme. It's a great resource for all. Consider yourself very lucky if you're able to work with either of these fine docs. Best of luck! Guest guest
My daughter has been working with Dr. Bransfield since her first bout with Lyme. He has been fantastic! She now has contracted Neurologic Lyme and he is helping her with those symptoms as well. I have never seen a doctor do a more thorough intake. It was amazing. Obviously, I think very highly of him. He was able to help her when she was having processing and other brain function problems. Now, with the Neuro Lyme he's been helping with her halucinations, nervousness etc. If you have specific questions feel free to write me individually. akannielm@... All my best to you!
