Are any of your kids on the Byron White Protocol? My daughter started

last week on the drops for Lyme and Bartonella. Just wondered what

others experiences were.

thanks,

Z

My son was on A-L Complex, 10 drops per day to start, then increased to 20 drops

per day after 6 weeks. At first, we noticed gradual increase in his symptoms,

then when we doubled the dose, we saw major backsliding with his symptoms. He

was taken off abx at the same time he started the A-L Complex, so I don't know

which was the cause of the backsliding... no more abx, increased herbal formula,

or both. At first, it seemed it might be a herx reaction, but his symptoms

continued to be worse after several weeks than they had been before, so I felt

the A-L Complex was not suitable for him and discontinued.

Also, I read in Buhner's book " Healing Lyme " that Astragalus is

contraindicated in late Lyme because it can aggravate symptoms (it

overstimulates the immune system). A-L Complex has this ingredient. That was

another reason I was skeptical about it.

I have personally been taking A-BAB (Byron White's Babesia formula) for the

past

four weeks and experienced a significant herx initially.  Also as a word of

caution, the day after Christmas I was rushing around and mistakenly included

what I believe was about three drops too much.  It had me bedridden for the

better half of the day which I have not had for some time.  It was pretty scary

so please be careful.  I'm also taking Quintessence and lots of supplements to

build up my system but NO antibiotics.  I have not taken abx in several months

and do not miss them.  I feel better on the herbs.  In terms of their use

for

children, I plan to ask my favorite Connecticut LLMD if this might be an

option

for my boys.  Does anyone with kids seeing this same doctor have their

children

on herbs either on their own or in conjunction with antibiotics?  Can you let

me

know how things have gone with them?

Peace to all,

Kim

I have been grateful to all who have replied on the Byron White Drops.

Meg is doing ok with them. She is up to 3 of L and Bart twice a day and

tolerating them well. She too is off all abx, and on supplements to

boost her immunity. I have a good feeling about this protocol. My two

friends have been on them since Nov and are doing well.

Thanks all,
