Guest guest
Hello everyone! I've been a member of the NPF for ten years, but they keep rearranging the webpage and it's getting harder and harder to find information. Thought I'd try here. I'm currently taking Enbrel and MTX, both injections 1x a week. I've been on this cocktail about 2.5 years now, so it seems to work for my PPP and also PA. 2-3x a year I see my rheum to have fluid drawn from my knees and cortisone injected, but for the most part, I'm living better than I ever have with my disease. One thing that I wanted to share is that I quit smoking four years ago after a 25-year habit, and I believe it's helped my skin keep clear. I had always read that smoking was bad for people w/ PPP (not sure about all types of psoriasis). Glad to be here & read some posts!
Guest guest
Welcome, Dawn. I'm new here as well. I quit smoking 18 years ago, so a high five to ya! I am on Remicade, and in a short period of time, have gone from 90% psoriasis to basically none. I'm thrilled! Ouch on the knees! I hope I never have to go through that! Yikes!
