Guest guest
Hi ,Standard macrobiotic diet is proper for coming back kidney function. It's very important not to drink a lot of water.Big quantities of water exhaust kidneys, oppositely attitudes of modern medicine. For not drinking a lot is very essential not eating sweeties and not using a lot of salt, but balanced quantities of salt is good, especially through gomasio, miso and ume plums.Azuki and other beans, arame, umeboshi plums are specifics for kidneys. In s Ohsawa's book: "Cancer and the philosophy of the far east" have good chapter about kidneys.Best regards!Markojanedoe434343 <janedoe434343@...> wrote: I just found out that I have only 25% kidney function. Does anyone know of any veggies or herbs to take to strengthen the kidney function. There are no pills only transplant or dialysis to help the kidneys. I am hoping to do something on my own, to prolong the possibility of having to have a transplant. Thank you __________________________________________________

Guest guest
SanfordWhat is your blood pressure? Are you on any meds for blood pressure? Are you drinking enough water? Have you ever been exposed to tenofovir plus a boosted protease at the same time? Are you taking a lot of protein or creatine? Does your creatinine clearance improve when you are not taking Oxandrin?Sent via BlackBerry by AT&TFrom: "grosssanford" Date: Wed, 08 Jul 2009 12:30:18 -0000< >Subject: Kidney Function Hey Group; I have a concern for consideration by the group. I have been struggling with some marginal kidney function for quite a while: Creatinine at about 1.8 with occasional spiking of my serum potassium. I have been on Epzicom and Viramune for quite some time. I maintain my testosterone in the mid-normal range with some supplementation via Oxandrolone when weight starts to fall. I have to supplement nutrition because the appetite and food intake of nutritious substances is pretty variable. I have trouble finding anything to use, however, that doesn't have significant potassium levels. I do take a multiple vitamin, anti-oxidant, and calcium supplementation - not too bad in terms of potassium. I am open to suggestions in several areas: my meds? supplements to enhance renal function better nutritional supplements that avoid potassium As many of you know, sub-optimal kidney function can make you feel pretty tired and run down. Thanks for considering. Sanford
Guest guest
I currently take a weekly methotrexate injection. Went to the Dr. last week for check up and blood work. He called me Tuesday to tell me that my " kidney function has taken a turn for the worse " ........those were his exact words. Going back to the Dr. on 4/25 for another round of blood work. I must admit....I am more than a little anxious about this news, has anyone else gone done this same path. Would like to hear your story/stories and would appreciate all suggestions and ideas.
