Guest guest
I started Stelara and methotrexate 10 weeks ago and haven't had any good response at all yet. I am seeing Rheumy tomorrow to see if there is something he can do for me because I can barely walk because my knees are so bad. I have been interested in noting that this is the first time Stelara has been mentioned. It has been approved for psoriasis but not psoriatic arthritis. There are lots of studies being done to see if it works with PA Anne.
Guest guest
I am taking methotrexate and Humira, and it worked beautifully. Until about 3 weeks ago when I got a raging bladder infection I am not sure, but that infection set everything off ‹ horribly. I just stared a Medtol pack yesterday, so I hope that helps. kristina adams
Guest guest
I am prone to bladder infections. It helps me to drink 1 glass of Ocean Spray cranberry juice cocktail per day. They are high in sugar, but helps my bladder. The cocktails that have a lot of grape juice do not seem to work.
Guest guest
I think there's an Ocean Spray cranberry juice cocktail that's low sugar. My daughter is prone to bladder infections, too, and drinks a lot of it. Joanna Hoelscher
Guest guest
Cranberry capsules in the vitamin section work great to help prevent bladder infections!
Guest guest
Dear Joanna, You are so right on the Ocean Spray Cranberry juice. Since I've become diabetic to all the prednisone I've been on for years, I try to avoid sugar all I can. It's called low calorie, but doesn't have any sugar at all. I don't know how they managed to do it, but the juice is really great as well. I can't drink carbonated beverages any more due to an ulcer from my meds, but I can handle a glass of juice a day. I hope it helps who ever is trying it. I'm considering trying Stelara as well, but my doctor wants me to try Simponi. I'm scared of the infections because I seem to have an infection going on somewhere all the time anymore. I'm sure the prednisone doesn't help my over all immune system, but I can't seem to live without it, especially with my COPD. Anyway, the cranberry juice is great. Take care Fran trying to stay cool in hot, hot Florida!
