Guest guest
Hi Again Everyone...I have heard and read that being out in the sun can help psoriasis clear up. I was out yesterday for about 20 minutes and my legs seem a lot worse? When I was in Texas a month ago, my joints hurt less. I assumed it was because of the heat. However, when on MTX, we are cautioned to limit sun exposure. I also have severe light sensitivity while on MTX and always wear sunglasses, even on overcast days. Guest guest
sun can help psoriasis, yes, but heat affects me worse. Warm sun on cool days is the best thing for me. Also, the Vitamin D helps with calcium depletion that many of us have as a result of pain and bone degeneration/regeneration. skrewtz
Guest guest
I know we can't all go to Costa Rica but I wanted to share that my skin was nearly clear after being there for a day. The mixture of the salt water and sun is amazing. I use sea salts at home which helps too but nothing like soaking in it. I think I will make our pool into saltwater instead of chlorine this summer and will let you all know how it goes. Susie
