Guest guest
Francine, I am not sure how it works for others but I know that my daughter (7) has to have the topicals everyday. I wish this wasn't so, but it comes right back and especially on her scalp and her knee. She has it in so many places and thank goodness it doesn't keep flaring like that everywhere all the time. I too was wondering about having to apply it all the time as it is hard to keep her still to get it done. Usually it is an hour to get all the places. Is yours in your scalp? It has to be hard to put the topicals on your scalp if it is on the back of your head. I hope you get a little help with it, and I hope you get the answer you are looking for. Guest guest
have you tried the product doo grostimulatinggrowth oil on her scalp ; Itis found in the ethnic section of the hair products . You can try theoil or the hair conditioner . The oil is good . put on her scalp and leave on for a few hours or overnight and shampoo out . smells nice and helps condition the hair . it is used by a lot of people for psoriasis and is not expensive ,about 7 dollars a bottle . easy to apply too . you can also apply to skin . get at walgreens, cvs and rite aid ,and target . You don't need to use alot. from ma
Guest guest
I think it is probably an ongoing battle. I use prescription topicals on my scalp and body regularly. I use them until I am sure that the Psoriasis is completely gone, then I stop. It does always return. Sometimes after a few days, sometimes after a few weeks. There doesn't seem to be ant rhyme or reason. Also I have found a product I bought on the internet that works as well as and sometimes better than my prescriptions. I use it the same way, regularly until my skin clears, then stop and wait. It's called " Psorent " . It's expensive, but lasts and it really has helped clear my skin and keep it clear for longer periods than the the prescriptions. Stay Well,
