If I were you I would be contacting the pediatrician or the LLMD that

you have an appointment with in January. Yes, we can have neck pain

with lyme but the stiff neck should be reported, IMHO.

Thank You Both, I did contact the doctor's, the pediatrition

said stay on same dose and it shouldn't be causing the stiff neck.

Duh, that's why I called. I can't call the Lyme Doc. untill I pay

him on the 11th. My son is better, I'm watching him close and I was

herxing too. Went off one antibiotic and zinc. Now slowly

recovering. Thank you all for listening, sometimes you just have to

talk to someone. Glenda and Charlie

Hi Glenda.

I was diagnosed with Lyme about 2 ½ years ago. After reading about it,

I felt sure I knew when I had probably been bitten. I live in Texas and

we don’t have any Lyme here either.(Ha) I guess they think they’re able

to read the signs at the state line and they’re smart enough to stay

where they’re supposed to.

Anyway, I felt sure I probably had the Lyme while I was pregnant. We

tested my daughter and she was positive. Then we found out that my

husband also had it. So, for the last three years, every one in our

house has been sick. My daughter is older than your son. She was 15

when she was diagnosed. I just wanted to let you know that all three of

us have neck pain. For us, it seems to always be on one side and goes

down to the shoulder and the arm. The more things we do, as far as

activity, the more we feel it and the further down our arm it goes. Our

doctor gave us a muscle relaxer for that and it helps a lot. Honestly,

I haven’t found a darn thing that relieves all the Lyme symptoms. I

wish there was something that we could take or do that would give us

periods of time that we weren’t feeling some type of discomfort. There

is a web site called Brain Talks where you can post questions. It’s

divided by category and has tons of different problems people have.

Lyme is one of the topics. I’ve found it to be another great place to

get information from other people. It’s always comforting to me to ask

people who have been where I’m at to see what it was like for them.

Even though it doesn’t relieve the symptoms, it does relieve the

worries.

I tried to look at this website and couldn't find it. I found one that was

www.braintalk.org but it didn't seem to have anything on Lyme. I searched for

Lyme on the website and it said nothing was found. Do you have the address of

this website?

Thanks,

Patty in MD

Also, scroll all the way to the bottom and find the words Forum Jump.

You can find other topics. Be sure to look through the entire list that

pops up because I've noticed that it will be in alphabetical order, than

another group will follow. You have to join, but it's free.

Hi, we live in Texas too. I was diagnosed 3 years ago but probably bit a long

time ago without a rash. My son is 12 and has been showing more symptoms of

fatigue, but sure enough he cam out positive 1/3 urine tests. Who treated your

son? Are there any doctors in TX who will treat kids? Thanks!
