Guest guest
I am wondering if anyone else has any neurologic symptoms. It started a couple of years ago with bladder incontinence, and leg weekness, as well as feeling think tongued. Earlier in the year, a muscle in my swallowing reflex kind of stopped working. I hear it " creaking " trying to work, but it won't, so I have to be very careful not to choke when eating. No one knows why. I had 2 MRI's of my head, and it is clear. Now, I am having horrible migraines that start behind my right eye, and give me double vision and dizziness - but imitrex does take it away. Now, I am having muscle spasms in my legs all through the night and wierd twitching all over. My left leg is sort of numb and feels really heavy. I now have an area that is " buzzing " like tingling near my left eye, which makes me blink that eye wierd, and an area to the left of my mouth and part of my lip. I am scheduled for an open MRI to look at my spine later this week. ANY ONE ELSE - ANY IDEAS??
Guest guest
Perhaps I and others will have other ideas to come. At the moment, I wonder what your magnesium levels are, given some of the symptoms you describe. As part of my question, I wonder whether any one or more of the drugs you describe taking have as an unwanted side effect, the depletion of any essential nutrients, such AS magnesium? Regardless, let's hope these symptoms get resolved for you. Don Boston
Guest guest
Have you been to a neurologist and have you had an MRI of you lumbar spine? There are spinal conditions which can cause a lot of your symptoms especially loss of bladder control. I have pain and numbness down my left leg and have had back degeneration for years. You could have a combination of things going on especially if you have PSA. See your neurologist right away Good luck
