Guest guest
Hi Janette, You are so right, I have a rolling walker and I really have not even thought of doing things that way. I am slow alot of times with ideas especially good ideas. I know I will start using my walker to do things I can't do while standing. I can't kneel or bend either, I'm waiting for the government to approve a grant to update my house for my diability so I can get around better and fit my walker into my bathroom. Thanks for helping my lightbulb turn on. Lori in AZ
Guest guest
I couldn't say every community has a program to help but here the county I live in has what is called CDSA, Community Development Support Agency. In order to get any help from them though you have to own your home first. Have you tried checking with your local Department of Human Services? They may be able to help you find grants and programs. Gentle hugs, Dalene
