I have taken gabapentin. It caused severe mood swings. It helped

with nerve pain in my legs but nothing else. The mood swings were too

much to deal with so I quit taking it. I wasn't sure at first if it

was the gabapentin. However, about a month after quitting the severe

emotional outbursts quit. I think it was definitely the gabapentin.

I have taken Neurontin/Gabapentin for neuropathic pain since 4/03 --

little over 5 years now. I do not have any problems with it at all and

was at 600mg 4x/day for most of that time. Good luck on your trip back.
