Guest guest
I don't swim either because of a bad shoulder (not from PsA) but try water aerobics - or even just walking in the water, if you can't find a class. I do water exercise at least 3 days a week, alternating with working out on the fitness floor 2 times/week. However, during the summer - because I've taken classes for so long - I can exercise on my own at our outdoor pool which has a one hour adult swim almost every day. It's like heaven, being able to work out in the cool water and still be warm from the sun. Try it - when you're in the water, you feel so much lighter there is almost no pain. When I had a knee replacement some years ago, the physical therapist I was going to said there was nothing he could do for me that would be as good as even just water walking.
