Guest guest Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Good morning, I wanted to post some good news, after 15 years of itching, scratching, answering, no, it's not poison ivy, no it doesn't hurt, it itches. no, it's not contagious,blah, blah, blah. I HAVE NO PSORIASIS LEFT ON ME!! I can shave w/out it looking like a scene from Psycho. I have been on Enbrel, now Humira for about 5 years, and everytime i would get close to having my legs clear up, i would get sick or lost my insurance and have to quit taking it for awhile. I have been able to stay on for 8 straight months. I go to my derm in a couple of weeks, and i can't wait for him to see! I never really worried about how it looked, i decided early on, i wasn't going to let it run my life, but i always dreaded shaving my legs, and even went a whole summer w/out. Small victories against this disease, but soooo exciting! i have had this disease for 15 years now, it's hard to believe. in OH. Quote
