Absolutely get another opinion. Poor baby! Prayers starting here, that's

for sure.

Also, if you don't already, I would stop buying any processed foods. Cook

solely from scratch. I have tons of recipes that are easy that you can

start with.

Aw, I feel so bad for her! What is her name so I can get her into my prayer

groups, okay?

Thank you both for answering.... she complained of ankle pain and knee stiffness

this morning going to school, thank goodness if it wasn't for the principal

letting me drive her up the hill to the school we'd be in big trouble.

Her name is Mallory. I just can't see how that doc can tell me she doesn't think

it is arthritis when she complains of the same joints over and over. The one

syndrome she has basically is a dwarfism that can be helped with growth hormone

shots. Most dwarfisms can't be helped by GH, so we are lucky in that sense. We

haven't done the shots in more than a year because of the anxiety she has over

them, but we def need to get back to it so that she can get to a decesent

height.

We were seeing a doc in PA childrens, if someone is close to WV that can suggest

a good ped rheumy I would appreciate it.

Debra,

Just thought that I would check in we are still looking for a new ped rheumy...

hard to find for children. I have been trying to read on the dwarfism part of

arthritis to see if there isn't something I can help tie it to for her sake.

What makes me angry, is I see that there are people who are diagnosed by their

symptoms of p. I can see that swelling would be a huge give away.. but just

knowing that she is third generation and has nail involvement in all fingernails

and seven toenails...

I'm sorry, I worded it the wrong way... she is third generation psoriasis

sufferer. This condition that she has is a mild form of dwarfism that is unknown

where it comes from. It is the only kind of dwarfism that can be helped using

growth hormone shots. It just makes me angry to know that she will go through

menopause and get osteoperosis early (by twenties) and possible arthritis now is

not good for her bones for her future. In my mind, it should be on the forefront

so that she has the best possible chance at a normal life when she is older and

not for a chance to " look " normal now. This can be the difference in being able

to carry on with a pregnancy.

Sorry.... getting on my soap box....
