Guest guest
I've not posted in the last few weeks due to work but I have been reading the post. Welcome to all the newbies. This group is a God send! P & PA have affected each member differently. But there is someone here that knows and understands what you are going through with P & PA. Many offer wonderful advice. To the group... I'm not sure if I'm going thru remission or what but I have had about 10 almost " normal " days. I still have pain & stiffness in the joints affected but not as severe. The main improvement is my energy level. Still not up to where I was but at a functioning level. Of course I have altered many things in my life - not volunteering, shopping on the internet and buying gift cards. And " budgeted " the energy I do have. I've been on MTX about 13 weeks now. I'm not sure how long this will last but I'm thankful for each day. My daughter had her first visit with Rhuemy on Friday. He gave her sleeping pills. Said her condition was due to lack of sleep. And he ask her if she was sure her mother had PA. Well duh! Any advice for her? My husband is having surgery tomorrow morning on his rotator cuff.. thank goodness I'm feeling better. My thoughts & prayers to everyone. Dotti [Editor's Note: My advice to your daughter would be to find a new rheumy. It is great to hear how well YOU are doing, Dotti. The combination of MTX and less stress seems to be working some magic for you. YAY! Enjoy. Kathy F.]
