Guest guest
Most recently I am experiencing pain in my right hip, as well as one of the ribs in my back. A few months ago I was trying to not use drugs, and only had problems with feet and knee. But now, the feet seem to be better, and I have these new body core issues. Is this rib pain a joint inflammation? It doesn't make sense why it would be related to PA, but what else would it be. I am now on 200mg Celebrex a day, and this quiets the pain, but it doesn't go away completely. When I take a deep breath I have to breathe into the abdomen, rather than back breathe. Of course the rheumy recommends methotrexate or Enbrel, but I was not wanting to go this route so soon. I am today trying Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN), which I have read has helped many people with different auto-immune diseases, a few with PsA. I ordered my LDN online, and am not being medically supervised, but everything I am reading is pointing to that this is a safer option than a biologic or MTX. I will give it 3-4 months. If it works, I'll come clean with my Doc, and hopefully will have evidence of it working. My husband is taking pictures of me, and my swollen areas. My index finger is also a problem, esp at work, as I am an optician and repair a lot of glasses. It is, of course, on my right hand. If anyone has these kind of back problems, I would like to hear about your experience. Thanks, Kinga
