Guest guest
My PSA has already affected my hand, feet, knees and ankles. Lately I have been having some pain in my shoulders. They are also making cracking noises.Does that mean that my shoulder joints are going too? I was diagnosed with PsA about 8 years ago although the rhuemy doctor said that I probably had it for many years. The pain gets especially intolerable during damp days.I am on Arava for the joints and Hydrocodone for the pain. That has been enough for several years but I am thinking it might be time to go back on biologicals.I also have Nueropathy, COPD and a slight heart condition, so when a new pain occurs I have to try to figure out which disease to blame it on. Oh well,If any of you are suffering with this shoulder thing, let me hear from you. Walt
Guest guest
Hello Walt, I too have shoulder pain. My rheumy suspected a rotator cuff tear on the right, sure enough it is. Now it pains on the left shoulder as well. Been putting the surgery off, it has gotten worse. Warm packs are my only relief. Had to put off surgery for another month or two because of a slight stroke I had. I'm going to therapy to strengthen the right for surgery So maybe that should be checked into, can you lift your arm above your head? Can you stretch your arm straight in front of you & grab an object? Those were the problems I had besides cracking sound. Meanwhile maybe the warm pack may relieve it some. The very best to you, what a great group of caring people Love to all, Gin
Guest guest
Walt, my shoulders bother me almost every night. I sleep on my side, and after an hour or two on my right side my right shoulder will hurt so bad it will wake me up. I turn on my left side and repeat. This goes on all night. If it's not the shoulders, it's the hips. Same story. best regards, sherry z
