Guest guest
Hi Sherry, I linked and googled many combinations . however i failed to find it. I wonder if any of you PA group suffers from the same problem. Aortic Valve Disease after many years of PA. I'm 52 now. I'm sick since I've been 25. Thanks A. Kraus [ ] Re: aortic valve disease caused by psoriatic arthritis There seems to be a link, although it is not known to be causal. There is a lot of research being done on this. It appears to be more closely linked with ankylosing spondilitis than with other forms of PA, although it has been reported in all forms. You can Google for " psoriatic arthritis " " aortic valve " and get lots of hits of abstracts of current research.
Guest guest
My first symptom was Gout, it then proceeded to osteomyelitis; p. pa, RA, Lupus. Not a very fun group. Please take care. Gentle Hugs & Prayers, Carol M. CA
Guest guest
Audrey, Hi Your expression: " turning into a rock " made me laugh. I usually say that I am like a stick. I do know that aortic valve disease go together with Rheumatoid Arthritis. This is what the Dr.s call a scientific fact. However I have no written information or scientific facts connecting the disease with PA. All I hear from my doctors is that the two could go together, but there is no research. I would appreciate any information. Thank you very much. I do hope the Humira and Methotrexate will help you better than they did me. A. Kraus [ ] Re: aortic valve disease caused by psoriatic arthritis I heard from my Rhuemy, that it can cause a leaky aortic valve which is what I think you are talking about.
