Thought I would update my battle with this disease on the first

anniversary of the initial attack. I continue on the Minocycline

antibiotic protocol. I started the 100mg twice a day Minocycline in

June and got immediate relief, getting off MTX immediately* and

Prednisone a month later. Attempts to go to the pulse Minocycline

protocol were not successful in October and November, with unacceptable pain

returning. I have however progressed in Dec to using the classic

Minocycline pulse approach of 100mg on M, W, F and using Diclofenac on

T, Th, Sat. and Sun. I'm controlling the scalp psoriasis using a balanced

supplementation of fish, flax and borrage oil with cottage cheese and have

stopped using the coal tar shampoo.

*Editors note: Everyone, please remember not to make any changes to your

medicine regime without consulting your doctor!

Thanks, RA
