Many doctors like 'pearls' probiotics which I have seen OTC in the grocery store

and don't need to be refigerated, they are super small and easy to swallow, my

girls take one each day even though they aren't on antibiotics anymore.  I got

mine from my naturopath and they are from Integrative Therapeutics but as I said

I know you can buy them OTC. I also used to buy the OTC chewable orange

probiotics in the refrigerated section of my grocery store for the girls when

they were younger.

My sister's daughter is starting IV Rocephin and I wanted to recommend

some probiotics to her (she can swallow pills). I take Saccromyces

Boulaardi and give my 4 and 5 year old one capsule of this with their

HLC (they can't swallow pills yet). So I imagine it's fine to give my

niece that. But I also take Theralac and did not know if children

could have that. Does anyone know? Or have other suggestions of very

powerful probiotics that were recommended by your doctor?

My daughter and I have been on antibiotics for 1.5 yrs now and have had great

success with Garden of Life Primal Defense. I take the pill form and my

daughter takes the powder form. Both of us struggled with bowel issues on

antibiotics until we started this. It has the saccromyces in it.

Does it seem to help with viruses? My daughter still picks up everything and

more....thanks. Diane
