Guest guest
Hmmm. Your post reminded me...scleroderma. Like scar tissue on the outside and nside of the body. The only thing I've heard of that makes a dent is DMSO. Perhaps DMSO and O2 would be something to try medicinally, gradually getting off the O2. Just thinking. Saralou lungs just a thought about oxygen: supposedly the lungs are the primary organ for getting oxygen into the body. i would think that there might be more discussion here about ways to optimize oxygen intake and transport via the lungs as opposed to dealing with supplemental oxygen therapies that will imo ultimately subvert the intended purpose of the lungs. after my reading with mr vonderplanitz i have been giving this alot of thought. supposedly my lungs are covered in scar tissue which is obstructing oxygen transport. has anyone ever heard of such a thing before? are there proven methods of naturally detoxifying the lungs? i have heard of some discussion of breathing exercises which sound good. are there lower disease statistics where people live in a purer oxygen environments? also, is there a way for me to confirm this diagnosis of scar tissue-- i was thinking about getting an mri of my torso-- will this show if there is scar tissue? Hi Luck, ** This brought something to my mind about a technique that Donna has tried to encrease her oxygen level. It's some kind of breathing thing. She needed it to help as it is sometimes impossible for her to exercise. I can't remember what it is called or how to do it, but I do remember her benefiting from it and really liking it. Now, hopefully, she will be reading this and will comment on it. If not, just email her and I'm sure she'll respond. after my reading with mr vonderplanitz i have been > giving this alot of thought. supposedly my lungs are covered in scar tissue > which is obstructing oxygen transport. has anyone ever heard of such a thing > before? are there proven methods of naturally detoxifying the lungs? i have > heard of some discussion of breathing exercises which sound good. are there > lower disease statistics where people live in a purer oxygen environments? **For some reason I'm thinking it's not so much the oxygen environment in which we live in rather than if the cells are getting the proper amount of oxygen THEY need. > also, is there a way for me to confirm this diagnosis of scar tissue-- i was > thinking about getting an mri of my torso-- will this show if there is scar > tissue? **Well it seems to me like it'd work. A MRI will often show things that a regular cat scan won't. Maybe even a simple ultrasound would show up something. Guest guest
Hi Luck. I have been doing BodyFlex, which can be found at www.thebodyflex.com I borrowed the tapes from a friend and learned the breath and the movements that go with it and find that I am totally addicted. Body flex moves you into an aerobic state, without having to do aerobics. For me it is perfect because I am not able to do much aerobically yet. In addition to the fact that I love how I feel on the breathing part, I lost two inches in my waist in one month doing what seemed to me to be incredible ineffective movements. They just seemed too easy to be doing anything, but I was wrong. But the breathes which I described earlier on this list really increase my endurance for a good 24 hrs and I sleep one hour less each night. The basic breath is to breath out through the mouth through what I call whistle lips. Empty the lungs then super suck air in through the nose forcefully like a vacuum cleaner, till the lungs are fully expanded, then hold for a few counts then blast the air out through a wide open mouth making a pah! sound and when all the air is expelled, quickly close the throat so that it creates a vacuum that pulls the tum up under the diaphram and pulls the neck in, in the area where the thyroid is. And hold for a count of eight then open the mouth and deeply inhale and start all over again. I was feeling really toxic in the head the other day. All through my body, really. And I did forty breathes and was crystal clear and energized. It really is amazing. Karma Tucker, who is on this list, has a list called moreoxygen There are some professional breathers over there. LOL. Well, some people who have written books and sell videos, etc and you can learn about several different techniques, one of which is called Life Lifts, which is supposed to be a toned down version of bodyflex but just as effective. The vapozone that Dr. Ben-ph mentioned sounds interesting. He says it is in the archives. When I have a chance I am going to check that out. The bottom line for me is that I have done some basic yoga type breathing exercises in the past and thought I would die of boredom in the middle of a breath (chuckle) and really did not notice any benefit that lasted more than ten minutes. With the body flex breath I am astounded at how much benefit I get and how long it lasts. I feel like I have done aerobic exercise and it feels great. It is a major blessing for me. I notice way more benefit from doing body flex, oxygen wise, than I do with Vit O or homozon. And it is free, well, once you learn the technique it is free. Sorry I don't have a tape or I would loan it to you. There is a caution with this tho. It can raise blood pressure in some people. I do not understand this at all, but there was a guy on the bowelcleanse group that said it did it to him and there is a warning on the beginning of the tape about it, so it is important to monitor yourself and make sure you are not one of those people. Guest guest
Beth, is very cute! We have lung issue, in that our dd has her right lung smaller than the left, her left lung is bigger and seems to be moving her heart over to the right side. We are told the right lung is hypoplastic. The pulmonary guy said that the right lung is supposed to be bigger than the left. We do not have respiratory symptoms at this time. We thought the lung issue was due to the scoli, but now that our dd is straighter, it seems the lung is small still, even though it has plenty of room. I don't quite know what to do. I took her to a pulmonologist, but since she doesn't have symptoms and they said since she is 3 they could not do a pulmonary function test. They said to bring her back when she is 4 and they would do it. I don't know if that is what you meant by restrictive lung issues. Gabi has fused ribs, but the lung now has plenty of room to grow, but it isnt catching up. Wierd, to me. mary > > > > OMG! That is the same pattern that was on 's brace! It is rare for people to actually have candida in their lungs, so please describe why you feel you do. People who get systemic candida are already extremely debilitated and in intensive care or on hospice. In any case, there are no tests that are conclusive for the presence of candida. Guest guest
Joanna, I didn't have the lungs biopsied, but trusted the experience of the radiologist and the pulmonologist who both felt what they were seeing on the CT scan was damage from inflammation and not the drugs, otherwise the pulmonologist was going to insist on the biopsies. There was some question that Humira may have contributed to the damage, but the consensus was that the primary cause was the inflammatory disease process.Sheri
