Does anyone else take both these medications. I am on 20 mg. Mtx per week (8

tabs) and doctor has just added sulphasazine as mtx doesnt seem to be working.

Can I expect any relief from these two meds now. I also am so tired and hair is

dry. Interesting that one member has come off both these meds. and pain is no

worse. Makes me wonder what to do. If not working why should I take such

strong medication. In U.K. cant get Enbrel easily. Also seem to be getting

sore mouth. Any ideas out there please.

Subject: [ ] Not PA at all...

Hi all. I have strange news. My rheumy has taken me off Methotrexate
and Sulfasalazine, and I am having no greater pain than before. I'm
still on celebrex and Zydol. He now beleives I have Fibromyalgia. No
blood tests have ever shown anything, now a year of x-rays show no
deterioration anywhere... though my sites of pain have increased from
the original hands, fingers and wrists to include feet, knees, hips a
little and lower back in the sacrum, oh and shoulders and jaw. I am
also awful tired, sleep hours and hours and dream vividly but wake up
feeling just as exhausted. Whats the collective view on all this?
would I have something to see on x-ray if it was PA? Or is my rheumy
probably right? I must admit to thinking myself it was possible it
was fibromyalgia already. XX C.
