Guest guest
Hi all. So glad you are here. I am still working and it is killing me. I have to stand for 10 hours a day(no breaks), reach over my head for things. work in a cooler at 38-40 degrees and use a computer for several hours a day. I manage a convenience store. I have tried to tell my rheumy that the job is almost impossible for me. I have pa in my back shoulders and just started getting it in my hands, also have it in my hips. i asked him to write me out of work. I am 61 but I don't want to go on early retirement because it would lose me 4-500 dollars a month. My gp referred me to pain management and they can't see me till May. If I were to quit my job would it hurt my chances for getting ss disability??
