Neuropsych evals for school

Can anyone tell me what they did to get a neuropsych evaluation done by

a doctor of their choice and have the district pay for it? Dr. J says we

really need to see this guy in NYC but we would have to get the district

to pay for it. Anyone have any experience and tips on how to do this or

even any other testing? My daughter, I think, might lose her autism

diagnosis soon so her services will have to be based on evals like this...
