Thanks, those silver teeth must have been a sight! Being only 6, most of his

adult teeth have not come in yet. He started the vibromycin today, and am

crossing my fingers that 3 weeks won't cause a problem.

wouldn't give them doxy or tetracycline because of the staining issue. My 17 yr

old son has his wisdom teeth pulled last year and the oral surgeon had NEVER

seen anything like it. He gave us two of the teeth and it is TOTALLY silver! He

kept the other ones.

discoloration occurred, even though it was only minocycline they were on. My

daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled in September and my mom had to take her

because I was involved in a car accident the day before and she needed to have

them out before school got underway. My mom didn't ask for the teeth and neither

did my daughter, so I don't know if it had the same effect on her teeth or not.
