Guest guest
I recently joined this group and have a question. I have been on 10mg Methotrexate for 3 weeks and the Psoriasis on my legs and knees, and elbows has dramatically imroved! But the reason I was put on this med was for the joint pain in my hands, ankles, and other places, and I don't see any improvement. I think my Rheumy wants me to try this for a couple of months and then will do bloodwork. If there is still no improvement, would the next step be to increase the Methotrexate? I don't work Fridays, and take it early afternoon. Saturday is when I feel the worst, but yesterday I was out and about all day and did better that the week before. So, bottom line, does it take awhile for the Methotrexate to start working on making the joints feel better? It's hard to walk for me at work, and we are going to Disneyland the end of the month and there's a whole lot of walking there, LOL. Thanks for your help and advice in advance.
