Guest guest
, I have been taking Tramadol/Ultram/Ultracet for the past 5 years....and thank goodness my doctor does prescribe them to me and has for the last 6-7 years....YES it does help considerably with pain relief....and given the profession I am in ( as a therapist and sees clients with substance abuse issues) I was happy to find something that did work without being habit forming.....I can take up to 8 per day...many days it's 2-3...I cannot take 2 of them too close to bedtime or I have sleep disruption but that happens to me with any kinds of pain meds....I easily alternate with 800 mg of Motrin some days instead. When my baby was born (who will be 3 in June).....The bottle of Vicodin remained up opened and instead used the Ultram....I know I can drive and function on them with ease. One of the things I have learned coming from working in the medical field...ALL doctors seem to have their own preferences regarding formularies and specific medications....older doctors may not be as willing to try the biologics as some of the newer doctors that are also involved in research...others are very current and stay informed.....
