Guest guest
Yep, on the scalp, in my right ear, and in the genital region. I don't take pain meds. I take Humira, MTX (but am going to talk to the rheumy about stopping that), ibuprofen or Mobic, and garlic supplements, along with other anti-inflammatories in my diet. Anyone else have psoriasis in the ear?
Guest guest
Hi , I have psoriasis in my ear canal openings and sometimes spots of it on the outer ear. And other places, especially my scalp. I take methotrexate and Enbrel. I'm only 8 weeks in on the Enbrel, sometimes I think I'm better....my ankles and the tops of my feet are still too swollen to wear shoes but the 'sausage toes' have finally gone away. I'm not going to list all the places that ache, just that I should have taken a pain reliever earlier, too late in the day now. :-( Funny thing (not really) is that people think I'm doin' pretty good now... they don't see the swelling and the aching. Duh, when it's bad, I stay home. My opinion is get diagnosed and follow thru so you'll have minimal joint damage. If something doesn't work for you, make some noise, get something else. We have to advocate for ourselves since others can't see what hurts. Do things you really enjoy, stress is bad for PSA. Guest guest
Hi , I suffer from joint pain all the time, I take Vicodin and another they have yet to tell me as it was a replacement for Darvocet that was recently removed as my pain killer... I also take Humira shots on Fridays, MTX on Saturdays, and Sulfasalazine daily for all the psoriasis trouble... I have had it in my ears, but I get on elbows, legs, head... It calms when I take most of this... The pain is the worst... Love and Peace Always Shaun and Barb Aka: ScarlettShaun
Guest guest
I am also newly diagnosed and have it in both ears and scalp terribly, along with arms, legs, and trunk. I go back to the doctor next week and hope for some relief. I itch constantly. Please let me know what they give you. Holly
Guest guest
Debra, My doctor just started me on Methotrexate. I also just got a new solution from the dermatologist to use on my scalp and ears called Betamethasone Dipropionate. I've only used it once which has helped a little. It can be used up to twice a day.
