My phys. therapists has asked me when were you in the sun? as my legs were pink/sunburned. When I said my legs had not seen the sun in years he was shocked he then touched all the areas and they were burning hot to his touch (I could of told him that) I began Humira a few months ago and prednisone I am also on many other meds and they can not tell me why It is nice to know others experience this as well Pamela Arnow create1126@... Guest guest
I say that my thermostat is busted too. LOL That's what it feels like though. It very well could be perimenopause but i'm hoping not..i'm not ready yet. Plus, when i was in my late 20's i went through this whole 'hot flushes' thing and they did a bunch of tests and said menopause and then put me on all this HRT and testosterone pathces etc... it totally messed up my body, changed my body shape, i had a lot of weight gain and all sorts of horrible side effects. After many years they realised they had got it wrong and it wasn't menopause (i think they eventually diagnosed pcos) but it was too late...my system was messed up from all the HRT when i didn't need it. I'm just worried they're going to jump to that conclusion again and i really don't want to go through that a second time. I also have headaches and a sore neck this time. Guess its time to go get my hormones checked.
