Sorry for the late response Tom, but n, mprimeau@... , from the

Ontario Scoliosis Association chapter might be able to help you, as well.

She has given me a lot of support in starting the British Columbia chapter

and together gaining Canadian information, even though the medical

information is universal.

SI Joint Fusion

Hi

I have scoliosis and am fused from L1 to T10. I have been having SI

joint pain for almost a year on my right side.

I finally found a doctor in Toronto that is going to fuse my SI

joint.

I am going to have my left side done eventually but the right side

is worse.

Has anyone else had an SI joint fusion and have scoliois?

I haven't but have read a great deal about it in the Chicago papers. Several

hospitals are using minimally invasive techniques on a whole host of back

problems with great success and very quick recovery times. I'd go for it!!!
