Traveling with Enbrel-no refrigeration

Hi folks,

Seems I did myself in a little bit. I went on a cruise and could not keep

my Enbrel refrigerated and so I skipped a week of medication. Now I am

paying the piper so to speak.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to take their meds along when they

know there is no refrigeration? I asked my sister who is diabetic what she

does and she said she packs it in ice and then goes to the infirmary on the

ship and has them store it for her. I think I still do not take this

disease seriously enough at times. Still denial.

Right now I want to crawl into a hole and disappear for a few weeks. My

feet are in constant pain and my spine feels like someone did a back flip on

it.
