Guest guest
you might want to also look into buhner's book. there is a support group on for those specifically on the protocol. Guest guest
Hi. I don;t know of a resource but I can tell you about my and my daughter's experiences with it. She was transitioned on to the limited protcol after being on ab for about a year and a half. She stayed on the limited cowden for 6 to 9 months and then we weened her off that. she never relapsed until she got bitten this summer. It was fantastic for her. She had fairly classic Lyme, aches, pains, trouble thinking, fatigue. Conversely the herbs did absolutely nothing for me. The doc put me on some Zhang herbs after trying some of the cowden to suppliment the ab's toward the end of my treatment. I was weened off everything and have never relapsed. It's been almost 2 years. Unfortunately I don't think there is a hard and fast rule as to who will benefit and who won't. Good luck to you. I am hoping and praying that I can get off these abx as they are really messing me up at this point.
Guest guest
Thanks for the book rec. and Annie for sharing your experience with Cowden. Annie can I ask you if you and your daughter also did dietary changes to support your recovery (like eating raw food, avoiding grains, etc) or detox methods like FIR saunas? Or did you both get better just with herbals? I'm trying to decide how much more to change my lifestyle in order to succeed. I do think I will be trying the Shor practice in March as they can assess me for herbals. Thanks so much for your info.! > > > > > > > Does anyone know of a good source for finding out more about who is > > succeeding on Cowden, what types of people are good candidates, how well > > they do (what specifically can it resolve, what is left unresolved, long > > term prognosis--do they often end up back on abx? etc).
