Guest guest
80% of your immune system is in your GI tract. I would look into taking him to a naturopathic doctor if possible who can help your son with these issues. Do some research on the internet on probiotics, digestive enzymes, and a healthy organic low sugar diet, you may want to try a food intolerance elimination diet too which will help you know if he may be allergic to eggs, milk, wheat gluten, etc.. Dr. Mercola has excellent articles at mercola.com. Yes, it may be a Lyme symptom, especially since you had Lyme when you were pregnant. As soon as you can, have them tested, so you can begin treatment, with proper treatment kids do get well. I hope you and your sons feel better soon! We are going to test both my boys, but we haven't had the money due to my treatment. My oldest son who is 5 has had issues using the bathroom ever cense he was going in the potty. His bowels will be VERY large where they hurt him or they are VERY sticky and he can't get them out. It makes a huge mess in his pants as it will oozz out. I took him to the doctors and they gave me something over the counter to mix into his drinks. It was to draw fluid to his bowels so he could go easier. It didn't work. I am wondering if this could be lyme related? Has anyone dealt with this issue? I feel so bad for my son!
Guest guest
on this site there has been talk in the past about a scholarship type fund for kids to get testing done, maybe someone can post that again and you can fill out the forms to see if you can get it for your kids, worth a shot.
