Trying to have a baby???

Hello everyone,

My name is Kasey and I was diagnosed in Feb of 2009, and they had not found

anything to help me AT ALL. I was on MEXHTE, and 800 mg Advil, then just the

Advil b/c I was getting hives from the other med. Now I am on Plaquenil and its

controlling the hives (they lasted for 20 weeks, and drs didn't know what to do

to ease them.) , and swelling but doing NOTHING for the pain. I have the the

worse in my toes, fingers, and knees. Its near impossible to walk for any length

of time. I am 26 and since I was 18 have worked at apt communities, and know no

other kind of career. I cannot work since my profession requires so much

walking, so I have been off work for almost a year. I am getting married in June

and want to start having a baby, but I don't know if that is going to be

possible. Since I am off... I wanted to start trying ASAP, before my

unemployment runs out.

 

Has anyone tried getting pregnant since being diagnosed? Does anyone know if

there is baby-safe treatments they can start you on, or your go the entire 9

months with terrible pain? I haven't even asked my Rheumy yet... I hope he

doesn't think I'm nuts. 

 

I would just like everyone's feedback...
