Prefilled Enbrel Syringes - Ouch!

Hey guys,

I haven't posted much lately. My PA's been pretty stable. My joints have

even improved. But I've been on Enbrel over 6 years. Today I did my first

injection from a pre-filled syringe. I've always mixed my own from the

kits. Has anyone out there had trouble with these new improved ones. I

mean they work, but it's like driving a nail into yourself. The damn things

are simply dull. I don't want to sound like a sissy but I hardly even felt

the old kit needles. These new ones are thicker too. I think they get

dulled by the rubber cap. I toughed it out because I've done in for years,

so I just pushed harder to get it in and it hurt like hell. I can see a

first timer getting pretty squeamish at the whole process with these damn

things.

Any comments?
