Our daughter started one tablet of Bactrim on June 24th, will work up to one

Tab. twice a day.

After about two weeks , she is having headaches, dizziness, lightheadedness,

grumpy. The first 10 or so days seemed ok( just some increased anxiety), then we

tried the Tindamax.

Wondering if any others had the same symptoms on Bactrim? Also her anxiety has

increased overall.

Ten days into the Bactrim she began Tindamax, but only takes the Tindamax two

days a week. Only started at 125mg once a day for two days.

So hard to know if Herx or side effects. Thanks, Jane

Our daughter, profoundly affected in neuropsych ways, definitely herxed in

biopolar, ADHD, auditory processing and anxiety. Her psychiatrist upped her

meds for that period and then we gradually lowered them. We expect the same

thing will happen when she goes on Rocephin tomorrow. I have noticed more of a

connection between her herxing and symptom exacerbation than between various

meds and the same. I think some hit harder in getting to the bugs in the brain,

and that may be why the reactions seem worse with those.
