question about Diflucan

Hi everybody,

I just want to say a big thanks to everyone that wrote in response to my

questions about the yeast infection situation a week ago. Everyone has all

given me such good tips, and the things I have tried seem to be helping.

Now, for the question of this post. My Rheumatologist did go ahead an

prescribe the medicine called Diflucan for the yeast infection. He said he

normally wouldn't do it, but understood the situation and that I was in the

middle of a doctors change. Well, he only prescribed one pill at 200mg and

to just take once. I am wondering if this is enough to fight it? I mean

one pill just to take once? 200mg? When I went to the gp that I am trying

to change from, she gave me a 7 to 10 day supply of it at 200mg tabs once a

day. Do you think just the one dose of Diflucan will work? I'm a little

concerned here? Just wondering what your thoughts are on this. It's just a

bit strange to me, but I don't know maybe it will be enough. What do you

think?

Thanks a bunch!
