Guest guest
>If you could lose a few pounds it would get rid of >all you ailments >Is anyone else SICK to death of Doctors using the " overweight " excuse. I don't hear the overweight excuse. I am 5'10 " and 150. Lucky me, huh? I hear it is all because of my diabetes (type I)or because I <gasp> smoke cigarettes. To listen to the doctors, EVERYTHING is because of Diabetes/smoking. Wonder how long it will take these physicians to come up with a new dx: " Lousy imune system syndrome " For me, it has caused (so far) Diabetes, P, PA, Hashimotos thyroditis... Seems like some doctors focus on the obvious. Instead of lecturing us about overweight/smoking, they should be HELPING us remove those agravating factors... (Water walking? Hypnosis? Support groups???) Sigh CMPete Quilts With Poodle '.....now times are rough and I've got too much STUFF!!' J.D. Buffett I have a blog now!! And there is ACTUALLY stuff on it! http://cmpetequiltspoodle.blogspot.com/ __________________________________________________

I finally got my siblings to realize that I got all the bad genes from mom and dad. They each got one... and then I have to listen to them complain how it's getting harder to do what they've always done. AND THEY'RE ALL YEARS OLDER THAN ME. I'm still working they don't remember when they retired let alone actually put in a full days worth of work. lol To your list I can add hypertension, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and as I'm learning a whole bunch of food intolerances and allergies. As my doc says periodically, you don't have a BAD immune system, " I don't think you even HAVE an immune system. " . Oh well, at least I'm still living and breathing to talk about it -- provided I use my inhaler. Sandy swOhio
