Guest guest
I haven't written in awhile. I have been on 40mg of prednisone treating an auto immune liver disease. I have also developed diabetes. I guess when it rains it pours. Thankfully, the L enzyemes have come down to normal, and I am weaning down on the prednsione to a lower dose, and am now down to 25. The psoriasis is starting to really itch again and become very uncomfortable. I started on Humira 6 weeks ago, about the time I started the prednisone wean. Of course,I was relieved of PA symptoms being on the prednisone. The psoriasis was drying and patches were even going away. I had no joint pain whatsoever. In many ways, the last 5 months has been a blessing with no PA symptoms, even with the side effects. I am wondering if anyone is taking Humira and have you had success with it? I was scheduled to go on Enbrel but my doctor seemed to think that the Humira would be more likely to treat both so I went with it. I give myself injections every other week. I would appreciate hearing from anyone that has any information on Humira and if it works well on psoriasis. How long does it take before you see any results? I am not having joint pain, just the itching and ps. symptoms. Thanks, Judy " Hope is seldom found in the things we can see; it is the sweet fragrance of grace.
