It's good to know your name. >I sent you a message to your personal email already but I do have other questions...If I have low blood sugar will this diet make those symptoms worse too since I am having no or very little carbs? +++No, you won't have any blood sugar problems whatsoever on this diet because 58% of protein and 10% of " good " fats (described in my article) are turned into glucose (blood sugar) inside the body. > I use my coconut oil daily @3 TBS so far. I also added some Raw garlic > plus I take C, B-complex, Bio E gamma Plex, omega 3 and calc/mag > citrate supplements. No A or D yet. Is that a problem? Also my > probiotic is 50 billion ! Is that too much to start with? > Again, thanks for all your help! +++Rose, that's great you are getting going so well, but I think you are trying to go too fast by taking 3 tbl. of coconut oil already. Also another antifungal (garlic) than coconut oil isn't added until you are able to take 6 tbl. of coconut oil without getting severe die-off symptoms. Probiotics aren't added until the last step of the program; re-check my article " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " which explains when you take the next step: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu2_8.php Also 50 billion probiotic units is way too much - you only need 10 million total per day; so that saves a lot of money. You can dump out the capsules and mix them in water to take smaller amounts. When I was curing my candida over 20 years ago probiotics were only in the millions, but due to marketing and companies trying to make more money they've Upped them a lot. Also it is better to take powder than it is to take it in capsules. One important article is " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " ; http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php So far your other supplements are good, but it is extremely important you start on vitamins A and D as soon as possible. They work together with omega 3, vitamin E and the " good " fats and oils. Don't forget to also take Betaine hydrochloric acid supplements - here's how to take them: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig5.php The best in health, Bee

I had been taking something called Hypo D which has 2 phases *stomach* and *Duodenum* it contains 155 mg Betaine HCL, 100 mg L- Glutamic Acid HCl , 105 mg Pepsin, 50mg Papain, 100mg Panceatin, 50mg Pancrelipase, 30mg Amylase, 30mg Bromelain, 65mg Ox Bile and 2mg Parotid. I noticed when I took this my stomach burned with just one tablet. I then took baking soda as you prescribed and it helped right away. Does this mean that I actually have too much stomach acid. I notice I wake up with an empty feeling in my stomach that burns , almost like a severe hunger pain. I can't tell if I'm hungry or if it's acid. Again the baking soda helps that too. I have read over and over that candida causes low stomach acid but is it possible mine is the opposite. How can I know for sure. I don't want to take the HCL tablets if that is causing the burning. I used to always take 500 mg of Bromelain to aid in my digestion I wonder if that was okay too. I took them daily for at least 2 yrs. ANy ideas for my burn?? You should get Betaine HCl all by itself without the any enzymes in it, which may make a big difference. Those other enzymes don't belong in the stomach since the pancreas produces them at the beginning of the small intestines (in the duodenum). Guest guest
Hi, Marsha. I often felt weak and dizzy or light headed. My red and white count stayed low though but not low enough to need the extra meds. I never had the stabbing headaches or the heard the pulse beating in my ear. You may be doing too much. Listen to your body. If it says it needs rest, then be sure to rest. You will be able to continue your regular routine after tx is done. Maybe you should call your dr and ask them if they can work you in or schedule you if they have a cancellation. Hugs, VickieG weakness Hi group, its marsha. I've been feeling very weak the last couple of days. My legs tremble when I am walking or exercising. I try to walk at least 1 mile a day. And 10 minutes of light cardeo or yoga, so I'm not sure why I'm feeling so weak. Any suggestions of what I can do so my muscles will not waste away, while in tx. Kinda dizzy to, sort of like vertigo I used to experience. I'm still experiencing the pain in my head now also I can hear my pulse beating in my left ear. Made a doc appointment but cant get in till next week. Just kinda felt like complaining to someone who cares..... Marsha
Guest guest
Hi Marsha, Have you ever been tested for diabetes? A lot of us develop diabetes, I believe the incidence is 2 or 3 times the average when you're HCV+. I was dx'd diabetic about 10 years ago & been on Insulin ever since. When I feel trembly like you discribe I check my blood sugar - that feeling usually means it's low & exercise can cause low blood sugar. Try taking an energy bar or something sweet with you when you walk & eating it when the trembles hit until you can get into see your doctor. Hearing your pulse beating in your ears is perfectly normal - everybody does occasionally. SuZie & Sir SpYke the Fuzzy (not a cattle thief) LOCH SLOY! Guest guest
Does the PA cause generalized weakness. I am having problems getting up from a kneeling position. If I get on my knees, I have to hold to something to get up. I have not exercised in a while. I thought at first that if was just not doing anything but I continue to work in home health and have to get up and down a lot. It has become a little aggravating. We have to do a lot of wound care and in the home nothing is convenient, we get on the floor sometimes. I sometimes tell my patients " I can get down but may not be able to get up. " They all laugh and think I am making a joke. I had a 5 or 6 week span of time that I could not use my arms. I was barely able to lift things that were not heavy. That has gotten much better but my legs have no strength. I think when I have a new problem, I just automatically chalk it up to the PA. Anyone else? sherry
Guest guest
Sherry, Some say that a trouble shared by many people is " half comfort. " I know exactly what you are writing about. I also know that it is not only you who suffers from the same symptoms. At least me too. Finally, this is one of the problems a man might have, and it does not matter how many people have the same. There is no comfort. I feel what you feel. I can not share it with you as nobody can share the pain with me. All other comforting words are useless. I know they do not help I have the same problems which you describe for about 27 years. Arie
Guest guest
I have both the difficulty getting up and the arm weakness. At first I did not realize it was related to my joint and tendon problems from PA. I just felt weak. As things progressed it became more obvious that I was struggling due to joint and/or tendon inflammation. So yes, what you are describing is common with PA. regards, sherry z
