Tramadol Q again - tics?

I have another Tramadol question. Does anyone else have tics as a side

effect from it? I'm getting them and that's all I can relate it to. Mostly

they

happen when I'm relaxing. I'll have various muscles, from my tongue to

one toe and everyplace inbetween have a tic. Then when I'm just about

fully relaxed and asleep, I'll get a whole body tic. It's like when you're

dreaming you're falling and you get startled - that sort of thing - but it's

very

annoying because it's a vicious cycle. Relax, have various tics, then get

almost asleep and get awakened again to repeat it all. Ugh.

I've been on it now for over a week and the issue with keeping me awake

(brain, not body) is getting better...or it was until I had to stop taking

Flexaril (cyclobenzaprine) yesterday. That was helping counteract the

insomnia from the Tramadol. Now I'm back to not sleeping well.

C.
