Guest guest
Hi Folks, I live in New England and had a business trip to Las Vegas in Sept. For the 3 days I was there I had NO pain! Nothing, Nada, totally pain free. After being home one week all the aches and pains returned. I asked my Rheumy about it and she told me it is not unusual for her patients to tell her they feel better when visiting the Southwest. I figured it was the dry weather and didn't think any more about it. At the end of Oct. I spent a week in Seattle with family and although it rained every day I was again totally pain free. What a wonderful feeling!! After one week home I was back to my sore self. I intend to ask my Rheumy about it at my next visit. Any Ideas why this would happen? My son would love for me to move out to WA. and it is tempting. When people ask about my visit to Seattle they invariably say " you must have been miserable in the dampness " and I get the strangest looks when I tell them I was not in pain and really enjoyed it out there. I have trouble walking a mile or two at home yet walked 4 or more miles every day out there. It was wonderful. Job
