Guest guest
My rheumatologist had prescribed 5mg prednisone daily for me because of the inflammation and other issues with psoriatic arthritis. I've done very well under her care, but it seems the prednisone can have an effect on emotions. It seems to intensify whatever is going on. This past year has been stressful due to my husband passing away, and trying to keep my house. So I know stress does effect PsA and I try to keep my emotions in check. I have asked the doctor to decrease the med to one-half tablet. She did and I feel better. I am on Humira and Methotrexate, Leucovorin, Folic Acid, B-50 for PsA. I am wondering how those of you who take prednisone deal with the effect it has on how you feel, perceive things, react to issues. I find that I must be careful to it so I can be sure it is me and not the medicine that I am reacting to. I would be interested in hearing how you do on prednisone. Thank you.
