The symptoms you listed are EXACTLY the same things that I've been

complaining to doctors about for a year now. My most recent MD, the

one that has me on all of the expensive vitamins and supplements, has

talked about rectal ozone therapy, EPD (enzyme potentiated

desensitization) for allergies and having all of my filling removed.

No one has ever mentioned leaky gut to me. I've heard of it but

wasn't sure if I had it or not based on what I've read.

Please tell me where you are in the process of dealing with it and

what you've done to get there.

I have never been so excited about a possible light at the end of the

tunnel.

I anxiously await your reply.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for all the info. The cleanses sound scary. Are there things to take

to cleanse the liver without going through all those steps? or is a complete

cleanse, if you will, the only way to go?

The most effective way to flush your liver is to do the overnight

flush. The one that I do is a combination of other flushes.

If your going to flush the stones out of your liver, and gallbladder,

you should definately clean your colon first. The best way to clean

your colon is through colonics, but if you can't afford them, there

are other choices.

I was scared the first time too, but you have to remember that you're

taking control, and healing yourself by doing it.

well, the internist has officially decided that he is going to leave me

alone now. he says that im too healthy to see him -- that he only sees

sick people. he did not examine me at all at my last appt. so that is a

good thing!

he said a bunch of stuff that i didnt really catch or understand, beginning

with saying that my last blood tests all came back fine except for one that

indicates allergies ... and ending with a request for one last special

blood test that cost $55 out of my pocket. i think that the test was for

some disease that causes pockets of inflammation in the lungs that migrate

around from left/right/upper/lower. i had the test on friday and i havent

heard back from him so i assume that it came back negative for that disease.

frankly, i dont see what the big deal is as i *know* that i have asthma...

i *know* that i have allergies... i *know* that my lungs will never be

perfect and that i will always have a little cough or wheeze now and

then. i also know that it takes me longer than normal to recover from

viruses let alone from bacteria pneumonia plus a cold virus which i had in

dec/jan and that started this whole mess. and.. duh...

allergies! geeze, tell me something that i havent known since i was a

child! i have learned to accept and adapt and the asthma and allergy

drugs that they have now are much more effective than they were back in the

70's and 80's! LOL. heck, i was outside jogging the other day so i must

be feeling pretty darned good to be doing that. so, enough stupid xrays

and cat scans and blood tests already! the internist did give me diflucan

for a yeast overgrowth though and that did make me feel alot better. (the

yeast resulted from all of the antibiotics my family dr prescribed).

i think that my family dr was making a big deal out of nothing which she

certainly has done before, especially with the kids. for example, she made

me take shane to 3 specialists (1 as an infant and 2 when he was a few

years old) because she thought it was possible he could have some

defects. those doctors examined him and said there was nothing wrong with

him. now it is apparent that she has sent me to this internist guy for no

reason as well. while i guess that in some instances it is a good thing

that she is so thorough, there are other times when she drives me bonkers

by pushing that too far.

:*carolyn.

Carolyn,

It is good news to be too healthy:)

I go to the doctor but like to take a break especially after I have a

baby...Most of the time doctors have no idea what could be wrong even

after you give them as much information as possible.

Recently I switched from a male doctor to a female doctor who does

acupuncture:) I really like her a lot and after two acupuncture visits

she fixed my " bad " neck.

I HATE doctors! I have horrible sinus problems for years now and they can't do anything to alleviate it....

Worse yet, my uncle was diagnosed with cancer....he would have been diagnosed sooner except that his family doctor was a moron who gave him an antibotic for a lump on his arm instead of doing a biopsy like he should have.

So now he has this fast-growing cancer called "sarcoma." Poor man had a hard enough life before this - parkinson's and heart problems.

Sorry to be off topic....I needed to vent.

hi jen,

there are a lot of doctors that don't make the right decisions. years ago grandma went into the doctor complaining of many syptoms and he said it was ucler 1 year later she was stage 4 colon cancer. both hubby and i have family history of heart diseases, cancer, high blood pressure, and diabetes. that big reason why we are trying to stay healthy. even hubby has jumped on the wagon with bike rides and lifting weights. figure the healthier we are the less we have to deal with these quacks out there.

hi jen, how interesting... the internist kept asking me if i have sinus

issues. he seemed to think that i should have probs with that and wanted

to fix it...LOL. have you seen a doctor of internal medicine about your

sinuses? your condition must be really hard for you :(

I saw a doctor about my sinuses and they put me on almost all of the various antibotics....they think it's allergies. I'm sure that I do have allergies but I think there is something wrong with my sinuses too besides that.

Right now I don't have health insurance (I'm self employed) but when I get some again I will find a "good" doctor that can do something for my sinuses. Until I do I'm doing things around my house to help eliminate the dust etc....

Hi, my name is Donna, I am 64 and I have severe Psoriasis, Ps A, Pre -

Type 2 Diabetes, which I control by my diet only right now. Fibromyalia,

and Restless Leg Syndrome. I was in the hospital three times last year,

with cellulitis in both my legs, because of my psoriasis. I can only use

topical creams for my severe psoriasis, because of my diabetes. With

shots or anything else, there is a chance of infections. So i have to be

very careful with what I do for my health. Tell you more about me later,

Bye
