R.E. Humira Once a Week? YES

I'm on Humira once a week and it works wonders!! Started with Enbrel which

worked for about 6 months then tapered off. When I switched to Humira I started

at once a week right from the get go. I also take Sulfasalazine and Leuflonimide

daily. I know some people take Methotrexate with it but I'm VERY allergic to it.

Took one tablet and had EVERY non-lethal side effect! Lost 7 days of work and

don't even remember the first three days!

My Rheumy and the Ins. Co. have tried to get me down to every other week like is

recommended by the Mfg. for Humira. I spent 6 months extending my doses out one

day every 6 weeks or so. At 10 days I was miserable. At 11 days I was non

functional. Without Humira I will be in a wheelchair. My body locks up and I

can't move and the fatigue is miserable. I can't remember the names of my

family, my dog, closest friends and coworkers. Humira gave me a new lease on

life.
