Guest guest
Geri: It really felt good to get home. I really like going but like it better coming home. I guess I am a homebody. Boy, Halo was nuts to see me this morning at 8 am, Libby Jane was like ok you are here but can I stay? Halo was so excited. She has not let me out of her sight. I did put her in her kennel and went to work for awhile tonight but it was like I had been gone for days again. She is not leaving my side unless she has to go out. In fact she is behind me now sleeping and soon I will hear her start snoring. Just like me. Well off to bed after I answer a few more messages. My husband and are in a golf outing for Father-child. had to go out and hit some balls today because she has been so busy that she hadn't even golfed yet this year. They said that the would put Halo out and let me sleep in the morning. Sue AIH Wisconsin
Guest guest
Hi , Hope you have a terrific time and the weather is comfortable for you. I loved camping, we used to go when my son was young, and then he no longer had the interest, so now we don't. Never recall a tick bite during those years, but who knows? Guest guest
Hi , Many drugs, not just antibiotics, can cause problems if you have too much exposure to the sun. I take Amitriptyline (sp?) for nerve pain and I was very surprised to see the " sun " warning label on the prescription bottle! Have a great vacation! Guest guest
Hi , Nice hearing from you from the campground...mmm, I can smell those marshmallows toasting from here.... To answer your question, yes, I am having terrible sun rashes even w/block. I never had them before Lyme disease. My skin gets very red and even raised sometimes, and is itchier than anything else that I have ever experienced. I am not on Doxy anymore, so it's not from that...and I also recall having the rashes after exposure to LD, but before any treatment was started. My thoughts...the sun might be killing spirochetes closest to the skin and they are giving off toxins, leading to Herx rash. Don't know if there's any validity to it; I'll ask my LLMD when I see him on Mon. Take Care, Joan LI, NY

Guest guest
Dear List, You guys have been such an encouragement to me and my lymie family. We have learned a lot. I hate to leave you all but am going away for 10 days. I anything really monumental happens please send it to my address and I'll get it on return. Just afraid my computer will crash if I keep recieveing all this mail for 10 days. Taking time off to go sit on the Jersey shore, hopefully there will be no ticks there. Then off to Buffalo to visit my birthmom. I am an adoptee who has reunited with her birthfamilies and it will be the first time they meet my children although I have met them before. We are very excited. Jackie can't wait to meet here other grandkids. It has been a real upper for us during these very difficult couple of years. So until August 11th, I pray you all have relief from the pain and get some good health! Sharon

Guest guest
Hi everyone, I guess I am still fairly new here.... so I am not sure how or what exactly the " digest " thing is or how it works... I also will be away from 8/5-8/12 and know that there is no way my mailbox can hold so much mail for so many days so I would really appreciate it if someone can tell me how it works or how I can hold mail off till I get back. Thanks : )

Guest guest
Can't forget that, that's my lifeline. I was only sick one day. The rest, other than tired I was ok. I still haven't unpacked the car. I was pretty wiped out after breaking camp and driving home. But I'll get it a little bit at a time. -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > dz have a blast on vacation and we'll be here for > ya. Just remember our > e-mail addresses. Guest guest
Thank you. I will! Today is my last long day. It'll make my vacation that much better. I wasn't able to truly enjoy my vacation last year, what with hauling my interferon around with me. I had to keep the cooler packed with ice to chill it. I timed my physical with my pcr test and just got the results back, my alt was 37 and ast was 22. So I am ready to savor my accomplishments, luck, and the grace of God over the past year and a half. I will be thinking of you all. -dz- Sharon Zeis <szeis_1@...> wrote: Have a WONDERFUL vacation. Sharon--- imaganeer <imaganeer@...> wrote:> Hi guys! Guest guest
Yeah, I may have foregone it too last year, but being the "noncustodial" parent of a 12 year old, we treasure our camping trips. I see him every other weekend and the two weeks in the summer of my vacation. I try to make the most of the time we have together. I suppose it won't be long and he'll be too busy with his friends to spare much time for dear old dad.. -dz- Sharon Zeis <szeis_1@...> wrote: I think you were brave to take a vacation last year.We aren't even going to try this summer. I have an idea of how you felt last year. But it looks like our Lord & Savior has taken good care of yoy & taken that old dragon off of your back. My vaction is just over 2 monthes & I am counting the day's till we fly out of here & head back & see our grandkids. I all ready know with having the peg-combo that I will not have the energy to do everything I would like do with them. But I will enjoy being with them. Guest guest
Dave you are right there. In 3 to 4 years, your son will have a part time job & girlfriends. You will not have much time with him then. We had in the house full time. But after he turned 17, between school, his part time job & dates. We didn't see much of him, only in passing. Now at 23 he is living up near you & we haven't seen him in 7 monthes and all we get is a few e-mails. Thanks to working differant hours & the time differance. Guest guest
Jan; they tell me that latter on they come back around & want to be with you. I hope so. We don't hear to much from who is up by Dave and we only hear from when she wants something " is 25 & is 23". Back when My Mom & Dad were still around a week wouldn't go by without giving them a call & if we were in the same area a day wouldn't go by without giving them a call. Guest guest
We had that problem for a couple of years but about 3 years ago, when my husband's 4 kids were all in different stages of puberty, the ex gave them to us. The really sad thing is she won't have them more than 2 days at a time and they have to sleep on the floor. I never can believe a mother can do that. Sometimes she doesn't pick them up when she's supposed to because she has something else to do.(like a basketball game or a date) I feel soooo sorry for my kids. Anyway, have a great vacation.
