Guest guest
Sorry... I don't have any experience with it, but would also be interested to hear if anyone else does. I have read about it on LymeNet. From what I've read, it seems that some docs believe it helps break down the biofilms that harbor the bacteria. If it was just a few days or week of worsening, I might think herx, but 4 weeks seems too long for that. Sorry I'm not much help. :{ > > Hi- > > My Lyme Doc recently put my daughter on a supplement called Boluoke which is supposed to help fight the Lyme on an intracellular level. She has been taking it for about 4 weeks and her symptoms seem to be getting worse. Her case is a complicated one because she also has PANDAS, but I am curious if anyone knows of this supplement or has any experience with it at all? > > Thanks, > > >
Guest guest
My daughter has been taking Boluoke since October. We switched doctors at that time and her new doctor added that along with many other supplements. We saw this doctor at a very low time in her illness and I was concerned that he did not start her on antibiotics right away, just a lot of supplements. Even without the antibiotics, she started to feel better, but I can't really say how the Boluoke played into that.
Guest guest
It's a staple for us. If you're not taking an enzyme to breakdown biofilm, you're not treating the whole infection. This is the latest on Lyme. All the infections live in harmony in biofilm. It protects them. The antibiotics, ect, cannot penetrate the biofilm, and basically leaves the infection untreated. You must take enzymes for the biofilm, or, undoubtedly, the infection will return the minute you stop antibiotics. An adult can take, I think, 2 caps twice a day (empty stomach), my son is 9, he takes one when he arises, and one before dinner. They have a website, and also can send you info. They are in Canada. There are also several other kinds of enzymes available, these are PROTEOLYTIC enzymes, NOT digestive enzymes. family of 5 with Lyme ect... > > > > Hi- > > > > My Lyme Doc recently put my daughter on a supplement called Boluoke which is supposed to help fight the Lyme on an intracellular level.
