Guest guest
Hi: I thought as much time as I spent on this computer I knew a lot about PA, WRONG. I used to work in the hospital, until 4 years ago, PA. I go to the ER 1-2 a year now with a SEVERE stomach ache (X-ray, CT, upper & lower GI ,nothing) sent home with Phenergan. Next day, better. Well Texas is different from Mississippi. Christmas Eve, same thing (this time CT with contrast dye & a week in the hospital). However, this time with the contrast dye, fluid in my stomach was the culprit. Pain for 4 days with Diluadid (?). thank God it resolved itself after 3 days, so it did not have to be drained. I finally found one website that describes how this is part of the inflammation process (intrinsic fluid).. I was glad to have a good ER doc. & Gi, the hospital doc..told me not to be a wimp & go back to work. After all the reports came back, his attitude was different. I wish I had felt like telling him, about PA, he didn't know. Anyway, have any of you ever heard or experienced this? I'm glad to be home. Love & Prayers H.
