Flare after taking Enbrel for 4 months

Hi everyone

I've had great success with Enbrel (started Nov 2010), one 50 mg injection/week,

still taking 20 mg MTX too. Nothing else. Everything was going well, fatigue

vanishing quickly, and every joint much better except for my SIJ.

Then I went to the dentist for a clean, told the girl how good I was feeling,

then after that began a flare. Fingers stiff in the night, now toes, can't reach

the floor, and pain in most fingers.

I read somewhere that the release of bacteria after a clean can cause a

flare????? Anyone think that could happen??

Also, if it wasn't that, is it common to have a flare after being so much

better? Am I still expecting on Enbrel to flare a few times a year??
